The Enterprise Architect for Business Technology is a senior technologist responsible for defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework that aligns IT capabilities with business objectives. This role ensures consistency, scalability, and interoperability across systems while driving innovation and governance for enterprise applications and integrations.Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture Strategy & Governance
  • Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, reference models, and technology roadmaps.
  • Chair or actively participate in the Enterprise Architectural Review Board (ARB) to enforce standards and integration governance.
  • Ensure compliance with security, risk, and regulatory requirements across all technology solutions.
  • Solution Design & Integration
  • Lead architecture design for complex business systems, including ERP, CRM, billing, HRIS, and AI platforms.
  • Oversee integration strategies leveraging ESB/MuleSoft and API-driven frameworks.
  • Map business capabilities to technology solutions ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Technology Evaluation & Innovation
  • Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives for retiring technical debt and modernizing legacy systems.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
  • Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Provide architectural oversight for major programs such as Zuora CPQ deployment, NetSuite integrations, and AI readiness initiatives.
  • Mentor solution architects and technical leads within the enterprise architecture team.
  • Operational Support
  • Support UAT and SIT processes, ensuring architecture compliance in deliverables.
  • Define operational readiness and hypercare plans for enterprise technology go-lives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred or comparable experience in lieu of Education.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with strong exposure to ERP, CRM, and integration platforms.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures, API design, and security frameworks.
  • Proven experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, Workday, and MuleSoft.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks and compliance standards (SOC, GDPR, etc.).
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive decision-making.
  • Familiarity with AI platforms and data architecture principles.
