Job description

Elevate the Future of Global Content with TransPerfect AI

TransPerfect is the leading solution provider of AI, Technology, and Data solutions; we are the engine behind the global AI revolution. As we continue to redefine how the world’s largest enterprises process, train, and deploy data, we are seeking a high-caliber AI Sales Representative to join our elite Business Development team.

This is a hunter role designed for a sophisticated sales professional who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and global enterprise strategy. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities, selling our comprehensive suite of AI data solutions—including data collection, annotation, and generative AI services—to Fortune 500 leaders.

TransPerfect AI offers a premier product suite that addresses the most critical bottlenecks in the AI lifecycle, from LLM fine-tuning to high-stakes data security. We are in a hyper-growth phase. You will have a seat at the table in shaping our market approach and the opportunity to drive massive revenue in the industry's most relevant sector.

The Ideal Candidate You are a strategic closer with a minimum of 6+ years of enterprise sales experience, specifically within the AI, Machine Learning, or Data Services landscape. You don’t just sell "services"—you sell a vision of digital transformation. You possess the technical gravitas to speak with Chief Data Officers and AI Researchers, and the commercial acumen to navigate complex procurement cycles at the highest levels.

Key position responsibilities:

  • Drive New Revenue: Systematically identify and close high-value accounts, exceeding annual sales targets and expanding TransPerfect’s AI footprint.

  • Consultative Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through the complexities of AI data preparation and the implementation of bespoke AI workflows.

  • Strategic Prospecting: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise-level opportunities through aggressive networking and sophisticated outbound strategies.

  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with our world-class Solutions Architects and Project Managers to ensure the seamless transition from "Closed-Won" to high-quality delivery.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
