Our WHY

We asked ourselves — What if better care didn’t cost more?

That’s why we built Vitable: the health benefits platform making healthcare better for employers of everyday workers. We bring accessible, high-quality care to over 85 million uninsured and underinsured Americans. Unlike traditional options, our suite of health benefits is designed with real people at the center.

Vitable empowers businesses to become better employers by making it easy to offer healthcare benefits to their teams. It's a better experience for employees and a smarter solution for employers.

Simply put, we’re built for better.

We’re growing rapidly and looking for eager team members who are hungry for change and passionate about delivering better care to the everyday worker. Does that sound like you?

Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to lead our high-impact event initiatives at Vitable. Events are our highest ROI marketing channel (9-10x return), and we need dedicated ownership to maximize this opportunity across 25+ annual events while scaling to new verticals and markets.

This role combines creative marketing expertise with project management skills to deliver impactful experiences that engage our target audience and generate measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Execution: Develop comprehensive event strategies, research industry events, build organizer relationships, and oversee end-to-end planning from concept to post-event analysis
  • Lead Generation & Marketing: Implement engagement touchpoints throughout event lifecycle, develop follow-up strategies, create multi-channel promotional campaigns, and manage event websites/registration platforms
  • Performance & Optimization: Track metrics to maintain 9-10x ROI, analyze attendance and revenue attribution, conduct post-event surveys, and develop KPIs for different verticals
  • Project Management: Create detailed timelines and budgets, manage vendor relationships, coordinate logistics, and ensure quality standards across all events
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • 3-5 -years event marketing experience with proven track record managing 15+ annual events
  • Experience with high-ROI programs, lead generation, and B2B marketing
  • Strong organizational, relationship management, and communication skills
  • Preferred: Event planning certification, marketing automation platform knowledge (HubSpot, Marketo), design software proficiency
  • Local to the Philadelphia office - This is a remote position; however, in-person visits to the office will be necessary to retrieve or drop off materials related to events, marketing, or storage.
Travel Requirements

This position requires at least 30% travel for event attendance, vendor meetings, and regional customer events across different states. Some evening and weekend work may be required during peak event seasons and for proprietary Vitable events.

We care deeply about the people we serve, and we care about our team just as much. We support each other, we show up with heart, and we have fun while we do it.

No egos, no jerks. Just good humans doing great work.

Inclusion at Vitable

Vitable is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences—and we’re committed to building a team that reflects the people we serve.

If you’re excited about this role but your background doesn’t match every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. We care more about potential and passion than checking every box.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
