Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant based in Austin, Texas, to partner closely with our Chief Technology and Data Officer (CTDO). This is a high-impact role at the center of Zynga’s fast-moving, global Central Technology organization.

You will act as the right hand to our CTDO, combining exceptional executive support with sound judgment, stakeholder management, and operational ownership. As you become deeply embedded in the CTDO’s priorities and support the broader leadership team, you will build the context needed to anticipate what’s coming, make confident decisions, and keep a complex global operating rhythm running smoothly. You will also use AI tools every day to get more done and help set the standard for how our team leverages them. If you are a resourceful, results-driven professional who is at ease with senior leaders and takes true ownership of your work, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Calendar & Meeting Support
    • Manage a dense, dynamic executive calendar across work commitments, personal commitments, and global time zones.
    • Coordinate with partner EAs on prep sessions, timing, and attendee changes. Brief the executive on what matters most.
    • Keep leadership meeting rhythms on track, including weekly agendas, planning cycles, and key deadlines.
  • Travel & Event Logistics
    • Plan and book complex, multi-leg domestic and international travel, coordinating flights, lodging, ground transport, and itinerary details.
    • Manage and submit expense reports promptly and accurately.
    • Lead the planning and execution of team events, offsites, and summits from start to finish.
  • AI-Enabled Productivity
    • Use AI tools daily for drafting, summarizing meetings and threads, triaging inboxes/Slack, preparing briefs, and conducting research.
    • Build and refine repeatable workflows, prompts, and automations that save the executive and the team time.
    • Evaluate new AI tools and share what works with other EAs. Apply strict judgment on data sensitivity, accuracy, and confidentiality when using AI.
  • Communication, Culture & Operations
    • Act as a culture champion for the organization, driving engagement and building a positive presence in the Austin office.
    • Build deep relationships and stay highly connected with the broader EA network, leveraging those partnerships to navigate the organization and get things done.
    • Handle highly confidential, business-critical information with absolute discretion and diplomacy.
    • Send concise updates with clear options, track open items, and chase them until they are closed.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, ideally within a fast-paced technology environment.
  • AI fluency: Advanced, hands-on experience with AI assistants and workflow tools. You should be able to give real examples of how you've used them to increase efficiency.
  • Rock-solid composure: The ability to stay calm and effective under pressure, comfortably navigating ambiguity, last-minute changes, and shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional communication: Clear, polished written and verbal communication. You are warm and relationship-driven, but possess the confidence to push back politely and escalate when needed.
  • Uncompromising ethics: Strong judgment and a proven commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • A "pitch-in" mentality: A highly productive, self-starting approach with the willingness to tackle any task—no matter the size—and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
