General Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Executive Director of Global Technology Solutions with a focus on Enabling Functions to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise technology, with experience supporting corporate functions such as Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Legal & Compliance, and Business Development. This leader will emphasize process excellence and leverage technology and AI to drive advancements, scalability, and automation across enterprise services.

This role will be pivotal in shaping the technology strategy that enables critical corporate functions and ensures the successful integration of cutting-edge technology solutions to support workforce strategy, communications, governance, and growth initiatives. The Executive Director will collaborate closely with senior functional leadership and will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Lead the technology strategy for Enabling Functions, aligning technology initiatives with Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Legal & Compliance, and Business Development priorities.

  • Drive innovation by implementing advanced technology solutions that enhance the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of enterprise services and corporate operations.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of systems and solutions supporting core enterprise functions, including HR, communications platforms, legal and compliance tools, and business development systems.

  • Enable data-driven decision-making by advancing data integration, governance, analytics, and AI-driven insights across enabling functions.

  • Ensure the integrity, security, and governance of enterprise data, particularly across employee, communications, legal, and strategic partnership data sets.

  • Focus on process optimization and automation to streamline workflows across HR, communications, compliance, and business development, reducing manual effort and improving user experience.

  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure technology solutions align with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and global compliance standards, particularly in HR data privacy and legal/regulatory domains.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions across enterprise platforms and business units.

  • Manage and mentor a global team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI, digital workplace tools, and enterprise platforms, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance enterprise capabilities and support enabling function strategies.

  • Provide strategic leadership to a global technology organization, setting vision, priorities, and operating model to effectively support Enabling Functions.

  • Champion change management and adoption, partnering with functional leaders to ensure successful implementation of new technologies, processes, and ways of working.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, influencing decision-making and aligning technology priorities with broader business strategy and transformation efforts.

  • Promote strong cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring alignment between GTS teams and business stakeholders, and removing barriers to execution.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s preferred.

  • Extensive experience in technology leadership roles supporting enterprise or corporate functions (e.g., HR, Legal, Communications, Commercial/BD).

  • Strong understanding of enterprise platforms such as HRIS systems, collaboration tools, document management systems, and compliance technologies.

  • Proficiency in software development, data management, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to HR, data privacy, and legal domains (e.g., GDPR).

  • Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve enterprise operations and employee or stakeholder experience.

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple global priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in technology leadership roles within the Biotech/pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies and their application in the Biotech industry.

Salary Range: $266,200.00 - $346,200.00 annually

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
