  • Systems & Ecosystem Thinking: A knack for connecting Qualtrics to broader enterprise technology stacks, including AI, data platforms, cloud, CRM, and ERP systems.
  • Product-Field Translation: Enthusiasm for translating real-world market shifts, customer needs, and emerging technologies into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Scalable Mentorship: Joy in coaching, enabling, and scaling proven approaches to the broader field engineering organization to lift collective capabilities.

How You’ll Grow

  • Executive & Advisory Standing: Expand your profile as an industry thought leader through speaking engagements, publications, analyst meetings, and executive briefings.
  • Frontier Technology Mastery: Deepen your technical edge at the intersection of Enterprise Experience Management, Generative/Agentic AI, and enterprise data architecture.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Build top-tier strategic leadership experience by directly shaping Product roadmaps and field-wide go-to-market strategies.

Things You’ll Do

  • Innovate Platform Positioning: Create and deploy new enterprise solution architectures, AI use cases, and strategic sales campaigns to position Qualtrics as a core platform in evolving market shifts.
  • Prove Impact on Strategic Deals: Partner with Sales Engineering and AEs on our largest enterprise opportunities to validate innovative positioning and drive measurable business outcomes through executive workshops.
  • Scale Capability to the Field: Package successful customer engagements into repeatable solution architectures, strategic sales plays, and enablement assets adopted by the broader sales engineering org.
  • Influence Product Strategy: Establish a continuous feedback loop between Fortune 500 customers and internal Product & Engineering teams to prioritize key roadmap investments.
  • Represent Qualtrics Globally: Drive market leadership by presenting at industry conferences, customer events, analyst briefings, and executive advisory sessions.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • Proven track record in enterprise solution architecture, strategic presales, or Field CTO roles within enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated capability in architecting and positioning complex platforms alongside enterprise AI, data strategy, cloud, CRM, or CDP environments.
  • Hands-on experience engaging and advising C-level executives at Fortune 500 organizations on digital transformation and business value.
  • Track record of building repeatable intellectual property, technical positioning frameworks, or field enablement programs that scale across an organization.
  • Cross-functional execution experience aligning Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
