Finance Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Own the finance and insurance (F&I) process — guiding customers through financing, warranties, and protection products with confidence and clarity
  • Structure deals that meet customer needs while maximizing dealership profitability
  • Clearly explain financing terms, contracts, and payment options to customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and dealership regulations and policies
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to deliver a seamless and positive customer experience
  • Keep current with industry trends, lending programs, and new products
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation

Finance Manager Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: Make between $180,000 - $220,000!

Qualifications

Finance Manager Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an automotive Finance Manager or similar role in a dealership environment
  • Deep knowledge of automotive finance, F&I products, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset

Corporate Requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
