About Job
Key Responsibilities
Project Financial Management:
- Assist in tracking and monitoring project budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial data and adherence to budget guidelines.
Financial Analysis Automation:
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive financial analysis tasks using tools like Excel, Python, R, or other automation software.
- Assist in developing and implementing automated workflows for financial reporting and data visualization.
- Work with the team to streamline data collection, processing, and analysis processes.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to present financial insights to stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Collaboration and Learning:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, project management, and IT, to achieve project goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving financial processes and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management and automation.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial management, data analysis, and process automation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and familiarity with financial modeling.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) or automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) or project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with machine learning or AI concepts for financial analysis is a bonus.
