What will you do?  What are we looking for? 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finxact Analyst to support the implementation and integration of the Finxact core banking platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in banking and financial services, with hands-on experience in core banking systems, preferably Finxact. This is an onsite role, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams including product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to Finxact core banking functionalities.
  • Support the configuration and integration of Finxact with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., digital channels, payments, cards).
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Collaborate with Finxact and internal teams to ensure alignment on product capabilities, limitations, and customization.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and production validation.
  • Help define and maintain core banking workflows such as account opening, servicing, lending, and deposits.
  • Provide expertise in Finxact APIs, data models, and banking domain knowledge.
  • Monitor and report progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and project managers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in banking or fintech as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with Finxact core banking platform (or strong exposure to similar platforms like FIS, Temenos, or Fiserv).
  • Deep understanding of core banking processes: deposits, payments, lending, account servicing, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with API specifications, data mapping, and system integration.
  • Strong documentation skills: BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SQL.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with digital banking platforms, cards/payments systems, or customer onboarding solutions.
  • Prior experience in client-facing roles or working directly with Finxact/FIS teams

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 34,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 119,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
