Own Overjet’s full-funnel content strategy and calendar across SMB and enterprise dental audiences. Create written, visual, data-driven, and interactive content; use AI tools to prototype and ship independently; manage SEO, AEO, engagement, brand, and conversion performance; influence pipeline; and develop thought leadership with internal experts, customers, partners, and KOLs. Collaborate with marketing, sales, demand generation, design, product, and social teams to strengthen Overjet’s position in dental AI.

Lead the Future of Dentistry.

Overjet is the world-leader in dental AI. Already, thousands of dental providers and insurers rely on our platform to deliver the best possible care. Now, we’re looking for talented people to fulfill our mission: improve oral health for all.

Overjet is where builders become leaders. Everyone here loves to make new things: new products, new partnerships, new content, and a new category of AI technology. And as Overjet grows ridiculously fast, so will you.

Simply put, there’s no better place to accelerate your career. Come join us!

The Mission and the Hard Part

Most dental content looks the same: a blog post, an e-book, maybe a standard webinar. Overjet is building something genuinely new in dentistry, and our content needs to earn attention the same way our product does. As a key member of the Marketing Team, you will be responsible for owning Overjet's content strategy from top-of-funnel thought leadership through bottom-of-funnel content that generates and converts leads. You'll build the ship as you fly it, helping us not only to create engaging content but shape the strategy of our content as a whole.

You'll love this job if you're someone who wants to deeply understand your audience, build content around how they actually want to consume it, and use data to keep sharpening what you make. You test, watch what lands, and iterate instead of publishing and moving on.

You also aren't afraid to reach past the usual formats when the story calls for it, using AI tools to prototype and ship things yourself instead of waiting on a designer or developer. This is an incredible opportunity to help lead the future of dental care by creating content that dental professionals genuinely seek out, share, and remember.

Boston, Salt Lake City, or San Mateo preferred but open to remote opportunities. The role will be hybrid if you're based in one of our hub cities.

What You'll Own
  • Own Overjet's content strategy and calendar, planning and shipping full-funnel content for both SMB/Private Practice and Enterprise/DSO audiences. That means top and middle-of-funnel formats (blog posts, case studies, eBooks, webinar outlines, interactive content, Overjet’s podcast, and more) built around what your audience actually wants to read or watch, plus bottom-of-funnel content designed to convert leads & support sales team

  • Push content past the standard formats. Build calculators, quizzes, and interactive tools (the sky’s the limit!) using Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, so you can ship them yourself without waiting on developers

  • Own content performance metrics, including SEO/AEO traffic, search visibility, organic traffic, and engagement, and establish how we measure content sentiment and brand perception.

  • Track downstream influence on pipeline and content-driven conversion in partnership with Demand Gen, and use what you learn to guide what content gets made and do more of what's working. Bonus points if you work directly with SDRs and sales teams to maximize content usage and conversion

  • Lead research reports and other data-driven content that positions Overjet as the authority on dental AI

  • Experience with new-to-you audiences and the ability to learn a new demographic as well as how to market to them.

  • Build and run the system that lets internal experts and KOLs publish thought leadership, including editing and coaching contributors who aren't natural writers

  • Partner across the org to extend content's reach. Work with the social media contractor and design resources to distribute major pieces and produce on-brand visuals, with Demand Generation to arm performance channels with the content they need, and with leadership across marketing, product, and sales to evolve and evangelize Overjet's story

  • Position Overjet as a leader by elevating customers and partners. Share their success stories and champion their growth in unique and compelling formats.

What Makes the Right Candidate Keep Reading
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience- excellent writing skills are a requirement.

  • 3-5+ years of experience creating content in a startup or high-growth environment or marketing agency, with a portfolio or work examples that show range across written, visual, and interactive formats

  • Demonstrated ability to turn data into compelling narrative (research reports, data-driven storytelling)

  • Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, or similar) to prototype and produce content independently

  • A track record of managing content performance against SEO and conversion goals, not just publishing volume

  • High velocity and a strong bias toward action, comfortable owning the full content lifecycle with minimal oversight

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment

  • Previous experience managing a team of influencers and content creators is a plus!

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
