Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Fractional Marketing Manager to serve as an embedded marketing lead for select Gloo Capital Partners and Gloo Business Units. This role develops a deep understanding of each partner’s organization, goals, audiences, and priorities, then translates that context into focused marketing strategies and plans that drive growth. Working closely with Gloo’s Strategic Marketing leadership and Masterworks’ shared services, this person will lead day-to-day partner relationships, guide marketing priorities, and coordinate execution across channels. The ideal candidate is a strong marketing generalist who can think strategically and creatively, build trusted relationships, and turn ideas into action.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day marketing partner for assigned organizations/units, building trusted relationships and developing a deep understanding of their goals, audiences, brand, products, and priorities.
  • Develop annual and quarterly marketing strategies, priorities, and measurable goals that support organizational growth.
  • Translate strategy into actionable marketing plans, campaigns, and briefs, connecting individual tactics to broader business objectives.
  • Coordinate execution across Masterworks shared services, including creative, content, paid media, web, video, analytics, and marketing operations, to own high-quality, cohesive delivery.
  • Guide organic social media strategy and execution for assigned partners, ensuring content aligns with broader marketing priorities and brand voice.
  • Monitor marketing performance, communicate results and insights to partners, and recommend opportunities to optimize strategy and investment.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities, marketing gaps, and emerging needs, helping partners prioritize where to focus their resources for the greatest impact.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in integrated marketing, marketing strategy, account strategy, growth marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong marketing experience across multiple disciplines such as brand, content, social media, digital, paid media, email, web, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate organizational goals into clear marketing strategies, priorities, and actionable plans.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to earn trust, guide stakeholders, and confidently make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent project leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple partners, priorities, and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using marketing data and performance insights to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategy.
  • Experience working with mission-driven, faith-based, agency, consulting, or multi-client organizations is a plus.

What we offer:

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage to support your well-being.
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
  • Flexibility to work from home & relocate anywhere we’re authorized to employ you.
  • Opportunities to travel and engage directly with mission-driven clients.
  • Access to paid training, industry conferences, and continuous learning opportunities to foster your development.
  • Opportunities to engage in projects that make a meaningful impact, serving missions and causes that contribute to positive change.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
