Why This Role Matters

As a Global Account Manager, you will serve as the chief strategist and trusted advisor for Dynatrace’s most critical, global accounts.

You won't just sell software, you will partner with G500 banking, finance, and insurance executives to align their long-term cloud and digital transformation strategies with Dynatrace’s advanced AIOps and observability platform. Operating at the intersection of business strategy and cutting-edge technology, you will lead a highly collaborative, cross-functional global team to land, adopt, and scale our footprint across complex business units.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Drive Global Account Strategy: Author and execute a holistic, 2-to-3-year strategic account plan. Map out key customer initiatives that drive long-term strategy realization, cloud adoption, and massive ARR growth.
  • Cultivate C-Suite Alliances: Build deep, trust-based relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders across globally federated enterprises. Define executive governance maps to ensure seamless alignment with Dynatrace executive sponsors.
  • Orchestrate the Ecosystem: Lead, influence, and mobilize a virtual, matrixed team of resources across various Lines of Business (LoBs), functions, partners, and geographies (GEOs) to deliver a unified customer experience.
  • Maximize Footprint & Adoption: Own the end-to-end "land, adopt, consume, and grow" cycle, leveraging Dynatrace’s services, support networks, partners, and hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) to expand our footprint.
  • Negotiate Complex, Global Deals: Navigate intricate procurement processes, governance compliance, and global contracts, successfully securing multi-million-dollar, multi-year enterprise agreements.
What will help you succeedMinimum Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven success in closing enterprise software sales.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:
  • Industry Expertise: Extensive experience managing G500 Banking, Finance, or Insurance (FSI) customers as a Global Account Manager or Lead Relationship Manager.

  • Executive Gravitas: A successful track record of negotiating massive, complex global contracts and establishing immediate credibility with C-suite executives in a trusted advisor capacity.

  • Federated Leadership: Experience acting as the primary account lead for highly complex, globally federated enterprises with multiple decentralized business units.

  • Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Observability, Security, and Cloud spaces (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and the broader IT ecosystem in large global enterprises.

  • Matrix Master: Proven ability to influence and align virtual teams across different time zones, functions, and cultures without direct authority.

Compensation and Rewards

The base salary range for this role is $166,000 - $207,000. However, base salary is only one piece of your total compensation package. This sales role is designed to highly reward your impact and performance through a competitive combination of base salary and commission, alongside equity. When determining your base salary, we consider your experience, skills, education, and work location.

  • Our total compensation package includes equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), unlimited personal time off, an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and more.

  • We also offer comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits, and a company-matching 401(k) plan for retirement.
