Grid Automation Key Account Manager (KAM) support the Commercial Team in the co-ordination and execution of all commercial and technical activities relating to the Grid Automation Business in the Region.
A vacancy has arisen for a KAM in Poland. The successful candidate will be part of a regional CER TAE & KAM team supporting the commercial teams in all technical activities relating to Grid Automation in the Poland, Czech R, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia Regions and primarily the position will be based in Poland.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Manage and develop relationships with key accounts in the Grid Automation domain.
Develop and execute account strategies for assigned customers, including account plans and long term growth initiatives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities (projects, modernization, digitalization, services, and system).
Represent GE Vernova as a trusted technology and business partner to customers.
Execute the review, analysis and resolution of assigned customer application enquiries using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / deadline requirements.
Provision of technical support to internal and external customers on the complete range of Grid Automation Products (focused on Software solutions (Protection remote engineering access, asset monitoring, digital Control System, network management, cybersecurity, etc) both by telephone and face to face meetings. The role will consist of both office-based responsibilities and visits to customer sites.
Assist the Commercial/Sales organisation in ensuring the best technical solution, promotion of products, presentations and assistance during technical negotiations as well as completing formal tenders for Grid Automation products/solutions in line with customer specifications.
Attendance of trade shows, seminars and conferences as necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements
Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in a customer facing engineering position.
Advanced Substation Protection and/or Substation Control System Applications Knowledge within Transmission & Distribution segment (privious experience with Orlen or Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne will be a strong advantage).
Experience with IEC 61850 based Substation Automation solutions is highly desirable.
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity topic and software business (DCS/SCADA/Remote Access).
Working knowledge of Substation Protection, Substation Automation and RTUs and be able to assist the customers in the selection and implementation of the best GE solution for their applications.
Experience with Network protocols, HMI systems, and software packages are highly desirable
Ability to analyse specific applications and produce technical reports.
Commercial Acumen.
Abbility to travel both in country and overseas (40%)
Languages - Polish and English (duties require writing and verbal communication with customers)
