 Passionate about leading and developing teams while shaping the future of FP&A? The Windows & Devices Finance team is seeking a Finance Group Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and executive decision support across a complex, matrixed business. 

This role combines people leadership, business partnership, and operational excellence. We are looking for a systems-minded finance leader who can build team capability, simplify complexity, strengthen business rhythms, and modernize finance through process improvement, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled insights. The successful candidate will help scale FP&A capabilities, drive organizational effectiveness, and deliver trusted financial guidance that enables better business decisions. 

The Windows & Devices Finance team comprises groups spanning Sales, Revenue, Investments, Compete, and Gross Margin. We are trusted advisors to the business, helping drive growth and performance through: 

  • Delivering unit, revenue, gross margin, and market share objectives 

  • Developing a deep understanding of business strategies, investments, and return on investment (ROI) 

  • Generating actionable insights on customers, partners, competitors, and market trends 

  • Providing predictability and transparency through planning, forecasting, and performance management 

  • Proactively identifying risks and opportunities to improve business outcomes 

  • Building strong partnerships that influence strategy, execution, and decision making

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will bring a combination of finance expertise, strategic thinking, leadership, and influencing skills to drive business impact across the organization. Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. 

  • Own and continuously evolve the FP&A operating model across the Windows & Devices organization, ensuring planning, forecasting, performance management, and executive review processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned. 

  • Translate complex financial and operational dynamics into clear, executive-ready narratives that enable leadership to make informed decisions with confidence. 

  • Apply systems thinking to understand end-to-end process dependencies, stakeholder needs, governance requirements, and decision flows, driving simplification and reducing organizational complexity. 

  • Drive operational excellence through process redesign, standardization, automation, and adoption of modern technologies to improve efficiency, insight quality, and decision velocity. 

  • Champion the use of advanced analytics, data platforms, AI, and emerging technologies to modernize how finance generates insights, supports decisions, and scales its impact. 


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience. 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles. 

  • 3+ years work experience in matrix-based organization. 

  • 3+ years work experience in the technology or software industry. 

  • Proven team player and collaborator who has demonstrated solid energy in ambiguous situations; Ability to handle a high degree of ambiguity and fast paced change management. 

  • Expertise in financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, planning, reporting, and developing financial models. 

  • Solid attention to detail and accuracy, as well as communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple groups; Responsive with solid customer service orientation. 


Financial Analysis M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
