Position Overview

We’re looking for a GTM Analyst to join our team and make a meaningful impact by turning data into actionable insights. This is a remote, B2B role at Connor Group, a leading professional services firm that works with the most exiting companies in the world. Lyft, Dropbox, Spotify, UiPath, Liquid Death, and 2,000 others.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for analyzing data in Salesforce, identifying opportunities, and driving focus, efficiency, and effectiveness for our GTM teams. Your remit is creating insights to share with marketing, business development, and sales experts who will orchestrate the needed action. You will ensure we’re targeting the right customers, anticipating their needs, and optimizing our approach.

Are you passionate about seeing the customers in the data and quantifying their needs and opportunities? Do you enjoy knowing your work is a compass for the efforts of many teammates, helping them deliver tremendous value to our customers?

Key Responsibilities

- Optimize CRM Data: Maintain data hygiene by updating and enriching contact records with accurate email addresses, roles, and company details.

- Lead Management: Develop and maintain lead scoring and grading systems. Automate lead distribution to ensure the right person gets the right lead at the right time.

- System Integrations: Provide suggested changes to integrations between Salesforce and third-party GTM tools.

- Proactive Insights: Analyze data to identify high-priority Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and opportunities, creating actionable target lists for Business Development (BD) teams.

- Account Intelligence: Use data to predict client retention risks, suggest next steps for existing accounts, and support client success efforts.

- Salesforce Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support in Salesforce for GTM teams, including Marketing and BD.

- Territory Management: Assist in the creation and implementation of sales territories.

- Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) Analysis: Regularly refine and update our ICP to align with data insights and business goals.

- Campaign Analysis: Evaluate the ROI of all go-to-market campaigns.

- Competitive Intelligence: Gather and analyze Connor Group statistics and competitive data, identifying proof points that demonstrate our superiority.

- Segmentation & Targeting: Build key segments for email targeting, including closed-lost accounts, potential next purchases, role-specific segments, and other cohorts where we can anticipate their needs with specific actions and content.

- Pipeline Flow: Ensure leads move through the funnel efficiently, always assigned to the right owner for prompt action.

- Salesforce Automation: Identify and build simple Salesforce workflows to automate GTM tasks. Guide implementation of more complex workflows according to clearly defined use cases.

Qualifications

- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as an analyst.

- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Snowflake, Excel, and similar platforms.

- CRM Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Salesforce or comparable CRMs like HubSpot.

- Analytical Skills: Strong intuition and curiosity for identifying patterns and opportunities in data.

- Reporting: Ability to create, maintain, and refine analytics dashboards, including custom dashboards.

- Collaboration: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven guidance.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, marketing, economics, data science, or a related field.

Target Salary Range = $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
