About our Client

Our client builds data generation and evaluation systems for Physical AI and robotics. We help technical teams turn complex data, model outputs, and evaluation workflows into usable systems for real-world AI and robotics development.

We are looking for a hands-on GTM Manager / Head of GTM to build our commercial strategy, win customers, and turn early traction into a repeatable revenue engine.

You will work directly with the founders and collaborate closely with product, research, and engineering. This role combines strategic go-to-market work with direct sales execution: identifying the right markets and accounts, opening conversations, understanding complex customer needs, shaping compelling commercial offers, and closing business.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and refine Miraxis’s ideal customer profile, priority segments, buyer personas, and target accounts across Physical AI and robotics.

  • Build and execute a go-to-market strategy covering positioning, customer acquisition, sales channels, and commercial partnerships.

  • Generate qualified pipeline through targeted outbound, founder networks, partnerships, industry events, and relevant inbound opportunities.

  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and closing.

  • Develop relationships with technical decision-makers, budget owners, and executive sponsors.

  • Understand customers’ data-generation and model-evaluation challenges, purchasing criteria, budgets, and decision-making processes.

  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, differentiated messaging, and persuasive commercial materials.

  • Partner with technical teams to structure commercially viable pilots with measurable success criteria and a clear path to paid adoption.

  • Help develop pricing and packaging based on customer feedback, willingness to pay, and delivery economics.

  • Convert pilots and early engagements into paid contracts, renewals, and account expansion.

  • Identify partnerships that provide access to customers and create new revenue opportunities.

  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and communicate realistic forecasts, deal priorities, risks, and next steps.

  • Track conversion rates, sales-cycle length, deal value, and reasons for wins and losses.

  • Bring customer and market insights back to the product, research, and engineering teams.

  • Build repeatable sales processes and playbooks as Miraxis grows.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in B2B go-to-market, business development, or full-cycle sales for technical products or services.

  • A demonstrated record of personally generating pipeline and closing revenue.

  • Experience selling to technical buyers and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.

  • Strong discovery skills and the ability to connect customer challenges to a compelling value proposition.

  • Confidence leading commercial discussions, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and moving opportunities toward a decision.

  • The ability to understand and credibly communicate technical concepts with support from subject-matter experts.

  • Experience developing market positioning, defining target segments, or testing customer-acquisition channels.

  • Strong commercial judgment and a disciplined approach to qualification, prioritization, pipeline management, and forecasting.

  • High ownership and comfort building processes in an early-stage environment.

Nice to Have
  • Experience selling solutions related to AI, robotics, data platforms, infrastructure, developer tools, enterprise SaaS, or technical services.

  • A relevant network within robotics companies, AI labs, or enterprise AI teams.

  • Experience turning founder-led sales into a scalable and repeatable commercial process.

  • Experience structuring technical pilots or proof-of-concept engagements and converting them into paid contracts.

  • Familiarity with pricing and packaging for data, software, or technical services.

  • Experience developing revenue-generating partnerships.

  • Experience helping a new company or offering win its first customers or enter a new market.

What Success Looks Like
  • Miraxis has a clear ICP and positioning that resonates with technical and commercial buyers.

  • The company develops a growing, qualified pipeline that produces new paying customers.

  • Pilots have defined success criteria and commercial next steps, leading to paid adoption.

  • Revenue grows through new customer acquisition, renewals, and account expansion.

  • Forecasts accurately reflect deal progress and genuine buying signals.

  • Customer insights improve the company’s positioning, offers, and product direction.

  • Successful acquisition and sales approaches become repeatable playbooks.

Working at our Client

This is an opportunity to build the commercial function of a company working at the intersection of AI, robotics, data, and model evaluation. The right person will be commercially driven, intellectually curious, comfortable with technical products, and motivated by building the sales motion—not simply inheriting one.

You will have meaningful ownership, direct access to the founders, and the opportunity to influence both Miraxis’s revenue strategy and product direction.

Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
