As t the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Hospice is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in the patient's home.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Performs skilled nursing services under the supervision of a staff RN daily
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations
  • Assists the physician and/or staff RN in performing specialized procedures as needed
  • Assists the patient with daily activities and encourages appropriate self-care daily
  • Reports to the patient's physician and other appropriate personnel regarding pertinent changes in the patient's condition as needed
  • Performs complex wound care if in-service is documented for specific procedure daily or as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted LPN licensure in state of practice
  • Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hospice experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
