Overview of Role: 

Truehold is seeking a results-driven Human Resources Generalist to support our Real Estate Group. This includes Acquisitions, Renovations & Turns, and Transaction Management teams. The HR Generalist will be responsible for identifying and addressing HR-related challenges, developing solutions and processes to drive organizational success, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a dedicated HR professional with first-hand experience across the entire employee lifecycle and has worked in a remote, distributed environment. The HR Generalist will report to the Director of Talent and work closely with the People Ops Consultant, Real Estate Executive Team, and People Managers. This is a remote position. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top quality employee experience to our real estate group in the areas of onboarding, employee experience, performance, employee relations, and offboarding. 
  • Ensure an open line of communication between HR and employees in the real estate group. 
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support real estate goals. 
  • In partnership with the Director of Talent and People Ops Consultant, advise managers and employees on sensitive work-related issues in the areas of conflict resolution, performance management, interpretation of company policy, culture and values, job mapping, leave accommodations, and other employment-related issues and topics. 
  • Act as initial point of contact for real estate employees with HR-related questions.
  • Develop and document policies to ensure optimum, consistent operations including attendance policies, security policies, management training, and other initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Build relationships with employees and real estate management. 
  • Support Director of TA/People and People Ops Consultant in strategic projects, as needed

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years experience in human resources, people operations, or related field
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Experience working within Real Estate or related industry with Field Teams  
  • Must have experience in human resource management across multiple states
  • Experience with Rippling, or comparable HRIS system, is highly preferred  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates high level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects at once
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative, and is comfortable with ambiguity
