Job Overview:
As an Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst, you play a key role in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access management for end users by collaborating closely with application owners, developers, and business stakeholders. Your responsibilities include defining role models, supporting implementations, and driving adoption of IAM practices across ABN AMRO Clearing Bank. This covers (but is not limited to) the adaptation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Authentication (SSO/MFA adoption) and Privileged Access Management across the global organization.
This is a global team with representation in Chicago and Europe. This position is based in our Chicago office and requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in office.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM business processes
  • Engage with global stakeholders to communicate and coordinate IAM-related changes and implementations
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and presentations to support the adoption and understanding of our IAM practices
  • Contribute to the IAM roadmap by providing input on the strategic implementation in collaboration with global stakeholders
  • Support application owners in defining and maintaining authorization matrices for their applications
  • Advise application owners and development teams on optimal access design, ensuring alignment with application architecture, security requirements, and business needs
  • Coordinate and execute periodic authorization matrix reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with functional department managers to define and implement business roles aligned with organizational structures
  • Manage business role reviews and support global User Access Review processes
  • Maintain and optimize roles within the access management platform (SailPoint IIQ)
  • Coordinate and drive all RBAC-related activities for application onboarding within SailPoint
  • Define functional requirements and perform testing of technical integrations between SailPoint and target applications
  • Identify risks and improvement opportunities within the IAM framework and proactively provide guidance and recommendations to stakeholders, management, and technical teams (e.g., Platform Security)
  • Provide support to colleagues on access management-related topics and issues
  • Respond to audit inquiries and support audit processes by ensuring transparency and compliance

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree in relevant field
  • Solid understanding of, or strong affinity with, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Authentication and PAM principles. Experience with Sailpoint IIQ and CyberArk is considered a plus
  • Ability to balance regulatory and security requirements with business needs and operational efficiency
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Service-oriented mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience working on global, distributed teams
  • Affinity with application architecture and development practices is considered a plus

Below is the expected base salary for this position. Offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
Annual base salary, not including discretionary bonus eligibility: $110,000+
