Job Title: Income & Franchise Tax Manager
Location: Bellevue, WA | San Francisco, CA | San Jose, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Salary: $138,000 – $172,500/year + Annual Bonus
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced **Income & Franchise Tax Manager** to manage state income tax compliance and consulting activities for multiple clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting projects.
* Review and prepare state tax returns and related filings.
* Perform tax research and prepare technical memos and client communications.
* Assist clients with state tax audits.
* Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
* Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff.
* Support client relationships and business development activities.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting**
* 6+ years of progressive State Income Tax / SALT experience**
* Active CPA license in California**, OR **JD with an active law license**, OR **IPT certification**
* Strong state income and franchise tax knowledge
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
