Role Summary

Vacation® is looking for an Influencer Marketing Manager, a unique hybrid of strategist, storyteller, relationship manager and goal-oriented achiever— to help us translate social insights into world-class cultural ideas that perform.

The Influencer Marketing Manager will oversee the Influencer Marketing program,  identify cultural insights from social media platforms and translate those into inspiring creative briefs for influencer/creators and external agencies. This is a strategic, yet hands-on management role, responsible for:

 1) driving creative excellence, advertising performance and maintaining strong and productive relationships with valued creator partners that can grow and evolve over time. Beyond strategy alone, this role will manage the implementation of UGC and Influencer content that stems from the cultural insight work in the role.

2) creating cultural cachet for the brand in social channels, attracting engagement and interaction, being seen in the right places and appearing in a variety of culturally forward environments.

Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, the Influencer Marketing Manager will partner closely with Influencer/Creators, the Senior Media Buyer, Community Manager, brand marketing, internal creative senior leadership and external agencies/platforms.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
