Our Opportunity:
Chewy's Private Brands team is seeking an Instock Manager to help drive inventory planning and execution for our growing portfolio of products. In this role, you will own end-to-end forecasting, purchasing, and supply planning through fulfillment, ensuring customers can find the products they need while balancing inventory health, operational efficiency, and business growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a passion for solving complex supply chain challenges. You will use data to drive decisions, improve forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory performance, and identify opportunities to scale processes and improve the customer experience. Working closely with vendors and cross-functional partners across Merchandising, Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology, you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of Chewy's Private Brands business. What You'll Do:
  • Own end-to-end inventory planning and execution, including forecasting, purchasing, and supply planning through fulfillment.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right locations, and at the right time.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and process enhancements that improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Partner with technology and product teams to improve systems, tools, and processes by defining requirements, validating outputs, identifying defects, and prioritizing enhancement opportunities.
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify actionable insights and drive improvements across your business.
  • Monitor and improve forecasting accuracy, inventory health, in-stock performance, and inventory placement metrics.
  • Build strong partnerships with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to influence outcomes and achieve business objectives.
  • Proactively identify risks, communicate changes in priorities, and provide visibility into key initiatives and deliverables.
  • Develop business cases, project plans, and written recommendations that align stakeholders and support decision-making.
  • Partner across teams to balance competing priorities, resolve challenges, and deliver the best outcomes for customers and the business.

What You'll Need:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain
  • Bachelor's degree in Business: Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, Economics, or related field
  • Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A proven ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure and deadlines
  • Knowledgeable in forecasting techniques and models
  • SQL
  • Microsoft Office skills

Bonus:
  • E-commerce experience
  • Python, KNIME, programming experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience

The base salary range for this role is $95,500 - $152,500.00.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
