Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) First Line Manager, Attack Helicopter Programs to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages employees engaged primarily within the disciplines of Integrated Planning and Scheduling, including Program Planning and Program/Team Scheduling.
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Acquires resources (i.e.: headcount and budget) for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvement initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, leadership, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of scheduling approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in IP&S Program Scheduling discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology, analysis and compliance requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Open Plan Professional (OPP) and/or Microsoft Project (MS-Project) schedule applications
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $118,150 - $159,850
