Here is how the Internal Audit Intern role will impact our business:
An Internal Audit Intern will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of areas of EQT, positioning the intern to be a valuable potential future full-time employee.
The Internal Audit Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Compare invoices to validate pricing for monthly invoice reviews
- Assist with SOX administration and testing through updating the SOX Application (Audit App) and performing testing for low risk and/or entity level controls
- Assist auditors with fieldwork for audits on the Annual Audit Plan and aid in follow up on the status of open findings
- Follow up on identified anomalies to the various monthly AP analytics performed to identify potential duplicate payments, split transactions, etc.
- Ad hoc projects as requested by the team or management
Required Experience and Skills:
- Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems & Technology
- Must have at least completed sophomore year at an accredited 4-year degree program prior to the start of the internship
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or above
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
