Internal Communications Manager
We are seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join the Corporate Communications team and help bring Salas O’Brien’s story to life from the inside out. This team shapes how Salas O’Brien is understood, inside the company and in the market, connecting business priorities to clear, consistent communication so team members are aligned, leaders are equipped, and clients and partners see the value Salas O’Brien delivers. This role plays a critical part in that mission, supporting our firm’s continued growth as a destination employer and one of the most respected engineering and technical services firms in the industry.

This role will also contribute meaningfully to the evolution of our internal communications function, particularly through the ongoing development of our intranet and team member experience hub, and by helping connect new team members more seamlessly with company-wide communications. As the function grows, this role is expected to help shape, build, and lead future team resources, including potential direct reports.
This is a hands-on role for a communications professional with 7+ years of experience who brings strong writing and execution skills, sound judgment, and the ability to take ownership of work and move it from concept to execution with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate operates confidently within established frameworks, makes thoughtful decisions independently, and knows when to escalate or partner. They will execute thoughtfully, contribute to continuous improvement, and partner closely with the Corporate Communications team, cross-functional stakeholders across HR, IT, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and technical groups, and company leaders.
