Investment Support Analyst I

The Investment Support Analyst at Citizens Wealth Management supports Wealth Advisors by assisting in constructing and maintaining client investment portfolios, ensuring expert knowledge of investment products and platforms, and facilitating optimal portfolio construction to drive client success and asset growth, with preferred qualifications including FINRA licenses and a strong interest in markets and portfolio best practices.

Description:
In a goals and planning-based wealth management business, providing clients with best-in-class investment and portfolio solutions is key to client success and AUM growth. The Investment Support Analyst (“ISA”) role at Citizens Wealth Management (“CWM”) is at the crossroads of the construction and delivery of those investment and portfolio solutions.

As a member of the Investment Strategy and Solutions team under the Office of the CIO, the ISA’s primary role, reporting directly to the Investment Support Manager (“ISM”), is to support the Investment Product Specialists (“IPSs”) in their role partnering with Wealth Advisors (“WAs”) with all functions related to the construction of managed money solutions for their client portfolios. The ISA coordinates planning and WA case referrals for existing and prospective clients, as well as supporting the maintenance of existing client investment portfolios. The ISA is responsible for maintaining an expert level of knowledge of CWM’s suite of investment products and strategies and the investment platforms that we utilize to implement these investment solutions for clients.

In CWM’s efforts to attain consistent outcomes in client portfolio performance, the ISA works with the IPS team to ensure optimal portfolio construction and/or asset allocation by WAs looking to operate more independently with their clients. The IPS and ISA team are product-focused specialists providing WA support across sales regions. While the team members are assigned specific WA regions, they will be expected to assist WAs from any region to ensure real-time access to CWM’s investment product and solution resources. The ISM coordinates the referral workflow of the ISAs on the team and works with the ISA team to maintain the delivery times on that workflow.

Requirements (included but not limited to):

  • FINRA Licenses preferred but not required (S6, S7 ,S63, S65), with opportunity to be sponsored for those licenses upon joining
  • Broad product knowledge across equity and fixed income markets preferred. Strong interest in markets and best practices in portfolio construction.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
