Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human
Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.
This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.

The ISV Ecosystem team sits within the Okta Products and Technology organization and is focused on expanding our breadth and depth of SaaS integrations across both Okta Workforce and Auth0 product areas, a C-level priority for the company. Our team ensures SaaS ISVs (independent software vendors) have the knowledge, tools, and incentives to build integrations that extend our core product functionality. We are driving the formation and adoption of new identity standards focused on building an interconnected and secure AI ecosystem. Okta’s ecosystem is a core differentiator, and developing a scalable approach to ecosystem development will be a critical driver of our next stage of growth.

As an ISV Success Manager, you will nurture ISV relationships to expand the Okta Integration Network. Balancing internal strategy with external technical guidance, you will support ISVs through their integration journey: from discovery and build support to roadmap influence. You will act as a bridge between integrators and cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Partnerships, etc.) to improve the integrator experience and shape partner programs. Your success will directly impact ISV satisfaction, ecosystem growth, and platform adoption across Okta and Auth0.

The ideal candidate combines strong communication, analytical, and technical skills to influence ISV roadmaps, identify integration requirements, and assist through technical roadblocks. You must thrive in cross-functional environments and treat ISVs as true customers, solving strategic business and technical challenges to scale the Okta ecosystem. We look for a deep interest in identity and security, and the ability to evangelize Okta’s value to both builders and buyers. As the voice of Okta, you will also represent us at industry events and drive thought leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish thought leadership on identity, identity standards, and “enterprise readiness” requirements for SaaS builders, while evangelizing the Okta Integration Network
  • Build a scalable ISV pipeline by identifying and nurturing new integration opportunities including partnering cross-functionally with Corp Dev, PMM, and field teams to expand our top of funnel
  • Guide ISVs through their integration journey, from discovery and implementation to delivery and maintenance
  • Partner with field teams (PAT, SEs, AEs, TAMs) to drive adoption of strategic products and features within the Auth0 ISV customer segment
  • Synthesize feedback from ISVs, product, and field teams to refine ISV Ecosystem program investments and internal product direction
  • Establish and continuously improve a repeatable and scalable “learn, build, publish” integration lifecycle, leveraging AI tools where appropriate to expand ecosystem impact

Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in developer support, sales engineering, technical account management, partner engineering, or marketplace development
  • Strong understanding of identity and security requirements for enterprise SaaS builders
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence both technical and business stakeholders
  • Ability to evaluate software, identify integration opportunities, and engage effectively with product and engineering leaders
  • Passion for learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with the ISV community
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment with a focus on continuous process improvement

Preferred:

  • Experience nurturing partner or customer relationships in a success-focused role
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Ruby, Python, JavaScript)
  • Domain knowledge in identity and access management (e.g., SAML, OIDC/OAuth, SCIM, SSF, privileged access, API security)
  • Experience in sales engineering, technical marketing, product management, partner engineering, or as a technical evangelist
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
