Overview

As an Enterprise Systems Engineer in Storable's global IT Operations team, you will help keep our people, systems, and devices running seamlessly so the business can scale with confidence. This hybrid role is based in our Seattle, WA office and reports to the Vice President of IT Operations.

You will help evolve IT Operations further into a cloud-native, automation-first, AI-enabled function spanning Identity, End User Computing, Service Desk, SaaS Infrastructure, and M&A activities. You will design and execute systems improvements that eliminate friction for employees, strengthen security and compliance, and deliver consistently excellent service across a globally distributed workforce.

You will also serve as a key partner to leadership and cross-functional teams during post-merger integrations, SaaS rationalization, and the design of Storable's future-state IT landscape. As an Enterprise Systems Engineer, you will bring technical leadership and help mentor the IT Operations team through a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.

What you'll do every day
  • Improve end-to-end onboarding and offboarding through secure, auditable, low-touch, cross-functional workflows.
  • Extend endpoint management across laptops and mobile devices for employees and contractors, using GitOps practices and MDM platforms such as Iru, Intune, and Fleet to manage endpoints as code.
  • Maintain and evolve a cloud-native, zero-touch hardware provisioning and retrieval program across global jurisdictions, supported by international logistics partners and standardized enrollment processes.
  • Simplify the SaaS ecosystem and reduce fragmented spend across Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, AWS, ADP, Workday, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Partner with leadership, Security, DevOps, People Operations, and M&A stakeholders on directory consolidations, domain and identity migrations, and mail and collaboration cutovers with minimal business disruption.
  • Improve IAM and RBAC practices, partnering with Security to mature Zero Trust architecture, enforce access policies, and maintain audit readiness across SAML- and OAuth-integrated applications.
  • Standardize global hardware asset inventory, forecasting, budget planning, and quarterly procurement through a single global vendor.
  • Improve IT service outcomes—including First-Contact Resolution, Mean Time to Resolution, Day-One onboarding readiness, and CSAT—to meet or exceed Storable ITOps' 4.9+ CSAT standard.
  • Collaborate with Security and DevOps to enforce endpoint compliance, automated patch management, context-aware access controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and champion AI, automation, and agentic workflows—such as AI-assisted ticket triage, automated access provisioning, SaaS optimization, and procurement forecasting—to increase productivity, improve service quality, and reduce manual work.
What you need to bring
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate IT infrastructure, systems engineering, and IT operations within modern, cloud-native environments.
  • A proven track record scaling IT capabilities in a high-tempo B2B SaaS company through standardization, automation, and measurable service-delivery improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience executing M&A IT integrations and migrations, including directory consolidations, Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID domain merges, and infrastructure cutovers.
  • Deep experience across enterprise identity, endpoint management, SaaS administration, and cloud infrastructure in globally distributed environments.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and technical leadership skills, with the ability to mentor teams and influence executive and business stakeholders.
  • An AI-forward mindset with a track record of using AI tools and automation to improve the quality, speed, and reliability of IT operations.
Bonus points
  • Hands-on experience with complex automation and SaaS management platforms such as Workato, Trelica, 1Password SaaS Manager, or similar tools.
  • Expertise managing Google Workspace at scale, including GAM, and Microsoft Entra ID in a federated identity context.
  • Experience designing and implementing AI-powered or agentic workflows within IT Operations or related functions.
  • Extensive experience with Jira administration and architecture, including advanced workflows and automations.
  • Experience managing complex VDI environments and migrations, including AWS WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, or Windows 365 Cloud PCs.
