Position Description

Valiant Solutions is seeking a highly organized, technically capable, and efficiency-driven IT Systems Administrator to support day-to-day corporate IT operations. The role will initially be approximately 80% IT operations and support, with opportunities to grow into automation, integrations, internal application development, and engineering projects over time.


We are looking for someone who can take ownership of recurring IT responsibilities, solve problems independently, improve inefficient processes, and help our internal technology function scale as the company grows.

This position allows for 100% remote work. Remote work requires a high level of trust in our employees, and we strictly adhere to the details outlined in our Remote Work Policy below. 


Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for employees and corporate systems.
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, permissions, groups, and software access.
  • Support Google, Microsoft, AWS and other SaaS platforms.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, browser, application, device, and access issues.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, system records, and asset information.
  • Assist with endpoint, account, license, and access management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external support when needed.
  • Take ownership of recurring IT tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Identify repetitive or inefficient processes and recommend ways to simplify or automate them.

Desired Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of IT support, systems administration, help desk, or similar technical experience preferred. Strong entry-level candidates will be considered.
  • Development experience is not required, but an interest in automation, artificial intelligence, software, or engineering is strongly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and general technical skills.
  • Experience administering business applications or SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar environments.
  • Basic understanding of permissions, authentication, networking, endpoints, and cloud applications.
  • Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, JavaScript, APIs, automation platforms, SQL, Git, cloud platforms, or web development is beneficial but not required.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 3 months: Learn Valiant's systems, handle common support requests, and take ownership of core onboarding, offboarding, and account administration tasks.
  • 3-6 months: Independently manage a significant portion of routine IT operations and begin improving or automating recurring processes.
  • 6-12 months: Become a dependable owner of day-to-day IT operations, reduce senior staff involvement in routine support, and begin contributing to automation, integration, or development projects.

The salary range for this position is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. It has been benchmarked in relation to the scope of the role, market rate, and internal equity. The salary for this role is expected to be in the $60,000 - $85,000 range. Where a candidate falls within the band can be determined based on one or more of the following: skillset, experience level, achievements, education, geographic location, security clearance, involvement in corporate tasks, and other non-discriminatory factors. In addition to the base salary, this role will include benefits as described above.  Valiant reserves the right to adjust the salary range, experience requirements, and position responsibilities at any time without prior notice.


Remote Work Policy 

Remote work necessitates a high level of trust in our employees.
