What would you do?

Role: Java Full stack Developer 

Client Location: McLean, VA

Salary Range: To be discussed.

Work Mode: 5 days onsite (No remote/hybrid exceptions)

Must Have Skills: 

Essential Skills

•Proficient in Java & Spring Boot for scalable API development, JSON processing, JWT AuthN/AuthZ

•PostgreSQL management, DB2-to-PostgreSQL migration, ETL workflows, DMS

•AWS S3 Java SDK integration, cloud storage best practices

•Containerized applications using Kubernetes

•Performance tuning, query optimization (ELK, Grafana), CI/CD automation (Jenkins)

•Angular front-end, Microfrontends (Module Federation), SPA/MPA architecture

•Automation: Playwright, Jest, Selenium, SauceLabs for parallel test execution

•Document migration: Appian to AWS S3/NAS

•Secure communication via Istio service mesh

•Authentication & Authorization using Ping, Token Management

•Ability to efficiently deliver tasks using GitHub CoPilot

•Capable of independently managing tasks and resolving issues without the need for a dedicated scrum master

Preferred & Advanced Skills

•Spring Batch, Spring Data, streaming APIs

•Advanced UI/UX design patterns, Angular performance optimization

•Feature flagging tools (LaunchDarkly)

•Schema conversion utilities, data validation & reconciliation

Additional/Complementary Skills

•Interpret/comprehend Appian workflows

•Awareness of other test automation frameworks

•Broader AWS services (e.g., secrets management)

•Enhance migration performance
