Summary:
At Cencora, we are united in our responsibility to create healthier futures. As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Enterprise Integration Technical Delivery team.
Throughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures.

• End Date: August 13, 2027
• Location: Conshohocken, PA

This internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities include:

• The Java Web Applications & Business Services Intern will assist with Enterprise Java web application development.
• Learn our tech. environment to maintain and enhance our Java applications used by the Distribution Center associates and optimize the application.
• Knowledge in programming languages, preferably Java, databases, application development, SDLC and client server architecture preferred
• work on relational database configuration and connectivity.
• Writing JUNIT cases and updating documentation would also be part of the day-to-day tasks.
• Assist in making changes to document layouts using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native technology.
• Assisting to enhance Java applications that help the EOM team monitor and manage the transactions that flow through the system.

Education and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology etc.

• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge in programming languages, preferably Java, databases, application development, SDLC and client server architecture preferred
• Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or work experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to receive feedback and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel,
• PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
