Lead Business Analyst – P&C Insurance Policy Administration | Remote USA 
Location: Remote – United States 
 

Are you an experienced P&C Insurance Business Analyst who knows how to turn complex business needs into solutions delivery teams can execute? Join our implementation services team and help insurance organizations modernize policy administration through high-quality Majesco Policy implementations. 

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will lead requirements and analysis across P&C policy administration workstreams, partnering closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical delivery teams. You will bring structure to complex requirements, translate insurance workflows into clear functional solutions, and help teams deliver with greater speed, quality, and predictability. 

What You Will Do 

You will own business analysis activities for assigned implementation workstreams and create the clarity teams need to move from requirements to delivery. 

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation for P&C policy administration implementations 
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, workflows, and clear acceptance criteria 
• Partner with business, product, and technical teams to define practical policy administration solutions 
• Support Majesco Policy implementation and configuration across policy lifecycle, rating, underwriting, and policy processing workflows 
• Manage and refine Agile backlogs to keep requirements clear, prioritized, and ready for development 
• Conduct impact analysis and maintain traceability across requirements, testing, and implementation 
• Define test scenarios and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) 
• Facilitate working sessions that align stakeholders on requirements, priorities, dependencies, and decisions 
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce rework, and improve implementation outcomes 

What You Bring 

You combine strong P&C insurance knowledge with hands-on experience translating business needs into technology solutions. 

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including experience within Property & Casualty insurance 
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance processes, including policy administration, rating, and underwriting 
• Hands-on experience with policy administration platforms; Majesco experience is strongly preferred 
• Experience supporting insurance software implementations, system modernization, or transformation programs 
• Ability to translate complex business processes into clear functional and system requirements 
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and tools such as JIRA 
• Experience supporting SIT and UAT and working closely with business and technical teams through implementation 
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and documentation skills 
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive requirements to resolution 

Bonus Points 

You’ll bring additional value if you have experience with: 

• ISO and/or NCCI circulars, regulatory updates, or insurance product changes 
• Translating ISO/NCCI changes into business, functional, or system requirements 
• Majesco Policy implementations within commercial or personal lines P&C environments

Success means giving delivery teams clear, actionable requirements before development begins. You will help reduce ambiguity and rework, surface issues earlier in the implementation lifecycle, and keep business and technical teams aligned on what needs to be delivered. 

Your work will directly contribute to stronger implementation quality, more predictable delivery, and policy administration solutions that meet client business needs.

What Majesco Offers:

Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency.  The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000.
