We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Car Biller who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and brings strong knowledge of vehicle billing and accounting processes. In this role, you will take ownership of the administrative and clerical aspects of vehicle billing, including accurately processing deals and posting transactions to accounting systems. The ideal candidate has prior experience in car billing and dealership operations, along with a commitment to accuracy, organization, and efficiency.

Car Biller Job Responsibilities

  • Verify vehicle sale costs, including reconditioning and equipment add-ons
  • Post manual journal entries
  • Reconcile select accounts and schedules monthly, ensuring accuracy prior to month-end
  • Prepare and complete end-of-month accounting reports as needed
  • Process paperwork from the F&I department
  • Prepare payoff checks or online payoffs for trade-ins
  • Reconcile holdback statements and other related documents
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the accounting team and sales department
  • Balance commissions summaries for the sales team
  • Track CIT and Missing Documents Log and communicate issues with the F&I team
  • Assist Business Manager with Month-End reports and closing

Qualifications

Car Biller Qualification

  • 1+ years of prior car billing experience
  • 1+ years of experience working at a dealership
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
