Technical Lead - Data Engineering
- Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive our data engineering initiatives and lead a team of 5-6 engineers.

This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 data engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow ( experience with Airflow 3 is preferred).
- Understanding of Snowflake architecture.
- Integrate and maintain real-time streaming applications using Apache Kafka / Spark Streaming
- Build and integrate APIs across multiple systems and platforms
- Drive technical decision-making and establish best practices

Ensure code quality through reviews and implementation
Required Qualifications

7-8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related fields
Strong proficiency in:
- Apache Airflow (DAG development, workflow orchestration)
- Snowflake
- Advanced SQL (complex queries, performance tuning)
- Apache Kafka (streaming, event-driven architectures)
- API development and integration (REST/SOAP)
- Proven experience leading technical teams (3+ years preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 33,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 118,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
