The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships.

- Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for EPGS and SPDS components and software
- Leads and coordinates work to analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware designs and interface specifications
- Leads work to test and validates that system designs meet operational and functional requirements
- Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements in the development and production of EPGS and SPDS components and software
- Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
- Troubleshoots Advanced E-7 EPGS and SPDS. Authors and updates Specification Control Drawings (SCDs), Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Compiles and reviews certification documents to demonstrate compliance with relevant electrical systems related to FAA airworthiness requirements including; Electrical load analysis (ELA) documents Develops and maintains relationships with teammates, peers, and supplier counterparts
- Designs and drafts Functional Schematics of the power system
- Develops and maintains relationships with teammates, peers, and supplier counterparts
- Reports progress and elevates issues to manager as required
- Support FAA Certification activities as required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 9+ years of experience in Electrical engineering
- Experience compiling ELA, ICD, and System Definition Document (SDD)
- Experience with Functional Schematic Drafting & Design.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with aircraft electrical systems design
- Experience with aircraft power systems. Experience with troubleshooting aircraft electrical systems
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with FAA certification procedures for Part 25 regulations.
