The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing testing processes for a critical USTRANSCOM system.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive testing framework for the SAP Transportation Management system.

  • Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

  • Design, coordinate, and oversee all testing activities including unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

  • Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with SAFE Agile principles.

  • Establish and track quality metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development, testing, and business requirements.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality and testing processes.

  • Stay current with industry best practices in software testing, particularly within DoD and ERP contexts.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • US citizen with active Secret clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

  • Proven experience with SAP systems, preferably SAP Transportation Management

  • Strong understanding of SAFE Agile methodology and its application in large-scale projects

  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field of study

  • Advanced IT certifications, such as ISTQB, SAP, or Agile/SAFE

  • Experience working on DoD contracts or within the defense industry

  • Familiarity with transportation and logistics systems

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$105,100-$231,100
