Who We’re Looking For:

Microsoft Advertising (MSA) is seeking a Learning and Development Certification Learning Manager responsible for designing, managing, and scaling certification programs that educate and validate learner knowledge, skills, and readiness. This role partners with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, instructional designers, and training delivery teams to create industry-recognized certification pathways that drive skill attainment, professional credibility, and measurable business outcomes. This role will manage the evolution of our Learning Management System (LMS) platforms- including strategy, design, content creation, execution, promotion, and measurement.

The role combines proficiency in learning and development, assessment design, credentialing best practices, learning technology, and program management to ensure certifications are rigorous, scalable, data-driven, and aligned to business needs. This role will also manage the strategy of the learning platform and related technology.

As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Starting August 10th, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least three days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop, maintain, and evolve certification content, standards, and program frameworks that reflect changing business needs and industry trends.
  • Design and develop engaging learning content by applying proven instructional design principles, ensuring materials are learner-centric, interactive, and aligned to business objectives
  • Establish AI-first content approach, including when to leverage assistants vs curate or create content manually.
