Job Summary

Applications for the MPS Summer 2026 Legal Intern position are now open and will remain available until the position is filled.

MPS has an exciting opportunity for a law student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic technology industry legal support position. We are seeking a summer intern to join a small and growing legal team of a multinational, publicly traded hardware technology company with core values of innovation and excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how an in-house legal department works with stakeholders across the business

  • Work with legal department (attorneys and non-attorney legal professionals) in diverse subject matter areas in corporate operations

  • Provide support to legal department on cross-functional efforts and projects with finance, operations, engineering, compliance, and other internal organizations across the company

  • Under attorney supervision, research and draft commercial agreements and other legal documents, issue spot, and redline agreements

  • Conduct legal research on various subject matter areas as requested by attorney team members

  • Research industry changes, analyze their potential impact, and draft and circulate memos summarizing findings for internal stakeholders

Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a Juris Doctorate (2L)

  • Excellent academic credentials

  • Creative problem solver, fast learner, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

  • Enthusiasm and passion for technology, law, and business

  • Strong interest in pursuing in-house attorney roles

Location: Kirkland, WA (Onsite)

Full time (40 hours per week), starting mid-May/June 2026 through August/September 2026 (10- 12 weeks)

This opportunity is intended to provide law students with valuable experience working in an in-house corporate legal department, and provide exposure to corporate legal practice, including in-house attorney roles.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The hourly pay range for this position in Washington is $38/hr - $42/hr.
