About the role
- Tidal is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to support our legal and contracts team by managing contract intake, coordinating reviews, and executing repeatable legal workflows. This role is central to keeping legal processes organized, accurate, and moving efficiently across the organization.
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with legal documents — but also curious about how technology can improve how work gets done. We are looking for someone who can quickly learn new systems and help modernize legal operations by leveraging tools such as Ironclad, monday.com, Zapier, and emerging AI solutions to create scalable efficiencies.
What you'll do
Legal & Contract Intake
- Manage intake of NDAs, service agreements, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Maintain tracking systems to provide visibility into status, ownership, and timelines.
- Monitor deadlines, follow up with stakeholders, and help identify bottlenecks.
- Identify opportunities to streamline intake and tracking workflows through automatio.
Contract Drafting & Review Support
- Generate initial drafts using Ironclad templates and form-based workflows.
- Revise documents based on legal team guidance, incorporating comments and redlines.
- Review contracts for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and template consistency.
- Flag deviations from approved language or missing information.
Coordination & Workflow Management
- Serve as liaison between Legal and internal teams (Business Development, Client Success, Finance, Operations).
- Route drafts, collect comments, and maintain version control.
- Use workflow and automation tools to improve cross-functional coordination.
Legal Operations & Process Improvement
- Maintain organized repositories of contracts and legal matter files.
- Document and refine repeatable legal workflows and SOPs.
- Help design and implement workflow efficiencies using Ironclad, monday.com, Zapier, and AI-enabled tools.
- Recommend process improvements that reduce manual work and increase visibility.
Qualifications
- Strong written communication and critical reading skills.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with legal documents.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and coordinate across stakeholders.
- Experience with Ironclad preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly and use AI or automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Experience building workflows or integrations in platforms such as Ironclad, monday.com, Zapier, or similar tools is strongly preferred.
- Interest in continuous improvement and tech-enabled legal operations.
