What Will You Be Doing?

  • Assist in managing and resolving delivery escalations in resourceful and effective ways.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks to meet strict transportation scheduling deadlines.
  • Coordinate shipment planning and route optimization to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.
  • Audit carrier rates and shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor carrier performance to maintain service level agreements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners (parcel, LTL, FTL carriers, couriers, vendors, 3PL teams) and internal teams (Sourcing, Supply Chain, IT, Legal, Compliance, Purchasing, Accounting).
  • Participate in vendor and logistics partner meetings to support collaboration and performance. Coordinate on projects, initiatives, and service efforts with teams across the Logistics Department.
  • Assist with training and development of SOPs for logistics processes.
  • Acting as a backup or resource for Coordinator I tasks when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

What Are We Looking For?

  • 4-6 years of experience in logistics, planning, forecasting, and/or freight auditing
  • Clear understanding of logistics terminology and processes, incoterms, and shipping documentation.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems/Transportation Management Systems/Freight Audit Systems and working with various carriers
  • Experience in multi-modal planning for Parcel, LTL, FTL, IMC, is preferred
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, D365, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of overall logistics processes and/or freight auditing processes
  • Excellent communication, time management, multi-task, and organizational skills
  • Be able to learn new software pertinent to logistics and the transportation industry
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work under strict deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Must be a team-player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $25.00 - $34.65 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.


Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.


Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
