The OpportunityAs a Business Development Manager, AI GTM, you will own Superhuman’s AI-native pipeline generation engine across both inbound and outbound. This is a hybrid role built for a leader who can manage people and systems at the same time. You will design, build, and scale the AI agents that generate qualified opportunities alongside our human BDR teams, carry a pipeline quota against that system, and set the technical direction for how AI shows up across our go-to-market motion. Your work will have high visibility across Sales, Marketing, and RevOps, and it will help define how Superhuman turns AI into repeatable revenue.
In this role, you will:
Own AI pipeline generation end to end across inbound and outbound, carrying a quota for opportunities sourced by AI systems and agents that run in parallel with the BDR team.
Design, build, and scale the AI agent architecture and workflows that identify, engage, and qualify prospects, from proof of concept through production.
Select and manage the AI and GTM tech stack, including agent platforms, data and enrichment sources, orchestration, and CRM and sales automation, making build-versus-buy calls and owning tooling decisions.
Manage the performance of AI systems the way a strong frontline leader manages reps: set targets, monitor output quality, diagnose gaps, and iterate quickly.
Manage, coach, and develop direct reports across a team that blends go-to-market and technical skill sets.
Partner across BDR, Marketing, Demand Gen, RevOps, and Sales to fold AI-sourced pipeline into the broader funnel, and communicate results, tradeoffs, and roadmap clearly to leadership.
Set the standards, guardrails, and reporting that keep AI-generated outreach compliant, on-brand, and measurable, and carry those learnings back into the human BDR motion.
Has 5+ years of B2B sales or go-to-market experience, including 2+ years directly managing people (ideally BDR/SDR, sales, or GTM/ops teams), with a track record of coaching high performers and generating pipeline.
Deep AI fluency, with hands-on experience building, deploying, and optimizing AI agents or LLM-powered workflows in a real go-to-market setting.
Proven experience building and scaling systems and processes from the ground up, including system architecture decisions and scaling those systems as volume grows.
Technical enough to own the stack: comfortable evaluating and integrating agent platforms, data and enrichment sources, orchestration, and APIs, and making clear tech stack and tooling selections.
Analytical fluency: ties system and activity metrics to pipeline and revenue, manages to a scorecard, and uses data (often incomplete) to find gaps and opportunities.
Fluency with CRM and sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) for pipeline management and reporting.
Strong grasp of value-based selling and SaaS business models, and how they translate into effective inbound and outbound motions.
Communicates and influences horizontally and vertically, managing up to leadership and down to a team, and aligning cross-functional partners without direct authority.
Proactive and self-directed, with a history of building systems and closing gaps before being asked.
