Senior Manager, Business Systems (Customer Experience & Customer Success)Location

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Business Systems (CX/CS) is responsible for the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of the technology platforms that power Alteryx's digital customer experience. This leader partners closely with Customer Success, Technical Support, Customer Experience, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and IT to deliver scalable solutions that improve customer engagement, accelerate self-service, reduce support effort, and increase product adoption.

The role leads a team of Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, and technical partners responsible for delivering customer-facing and internal applications that support the complete post-sales customer journey.

Success in this role requires balancing business strategy, product management, architecture, operational excellence, and AI-driven innovation while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, measurable, and aligned with Alteryx's customer-first vision.

ResponsibilitiesTechnology Roadmap
  • Define and own the multi-year technology roadmap supporting Customer Experience and Customer Success.

  • Drive modernization of customer-facing digital experiences across web and AI-enabled platforms.

  • Identify opportunities to consolidate applications, reduce technical debt, and simplify customer interactions.

Business Partnership

Build trusted partnerships with

Serve as the primary technology advisor for customer experience initiatives while aligning business goals with technology investments.

Additional responsibilities

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements for customer experience, customer support and related operations.

  • Act as the business technology owner for customer experience and customer support capabilities, ensuring solutions align with business processes, service objectives, and enterprise architecture.

Solution Delivery

Lead end-to-end delivery across

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet measurable business outcomes.

Own the strategy and lifecycle management for customer experience and support solutions including:

AI Solutions

  • AI-assisted customer support experiences

  • Intelligent self-service capabilities

  • Data Scorecard

Customer Case Management
  • Own the technology roadmap for customer case management capabilities, partnering with Salesforce teams to enhance case intake, routing, escalation, knowledge management, and support workflows.

  • Drive continuous improvements that increase support agent productivity, improve customer satisfaction, and enable scalable service operations through automation and AI.

Drive adoption, usage analytics, customer satisfaction, and continuous enhancement across the portfolio.

Vendor & Partner Management

Manage relationships with

  • System Integrators

Drive accountability around

  • Delivery quality

  • Cost optimization

Leadership

Lead and mentor a high-performing Business Systems team by

  • Building a customer-first culture.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise business systems or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience delivering customer-facing web applications.

  • Experience partnering with Customer Success, Support, or Customer Experience organizations.

  • Strong Agile product management experience.

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

  • Experience leading cross-functional programs with multiple technology teams.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

The salary range for this role in the United States is $118,000 - $152,000.

Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, such as a bonus or commission, medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
