Job Description:

  • Supervise a team of clinical informatics advocates assigned to the facility or region.

  • Oversee day-to-day informatics support, ensuring timely resolution of issues, user assistance, and proactive engagement.

  • Coordinate participation in enterprise projects, EHR upgrades, system testing, and go-live support.

  • Act as a clinical informatics liaison for nursing, providers, and other clinicians —ensuring effective system use and addressing workflow concerns.

  • Promote and monitor the adoption of clinical documentation standards, decision support tools, and safety features within the EHR.

  • Collaborate with training teams to deliver new hire onboarding, role-based education, and ongoing skills development related to clinical systems.

  • Participate in site-level or regional workflow redesign efforts to improve documentation efficiency, clinician satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

  • Partner with clinical leaders to scope, evaluate, and validate optimization requests and coordinate with AIT teams on build changes.

  • Ensure informatics support spans across ambulatory clinics, acute care units, procedural areas, and virtual care platforms.

  • Foster partnerships across departments to drive integrated, patient-centered workflows.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred). [Required]

  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. [Required]  

Education:

  • Bachelor's [Required]  

Field of Study:

  • in nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of clinical background [Required]

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare informatics or equivalent role [Required]

  • 3+ years of experience with a clinical EMR system [Required]

  • 3+ years of management experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Preferred] OR

  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Preferred] OR

  • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Preferred] OR

Pay Range:

$92,002.67 - $171,115.98
