Job Summary
The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing internal and external communication strategies to enhance brand visibility, employee engagement, and stakeholder relationships. This role ensures consistent messaging across all channels, including media relations, corporate communications, digital platforms, and employee communications.
Responsibilities
Corporate Communications & Branding:
Develop and implement a strategic communication plan aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
  • Oversee the creation of press releases, speeches, and corporate presentations.
  • Manage crisis communications and provide leadership with talking points when needed.

Internal Communications:
  • Develop internal newsletters, announcements, and updates to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Support leadership in delivering key messages to employees through town halls, email communications, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to enhance employee engagement initiatives.

Media & Public Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
  • Develop and pitch press stories to gain media coverage for the company.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.

Digital & Social Media Communications:
  • Oversee content creation and messaging for social media, corporate websites, and blogs.
  • Manage and optimize the company's online presence, ensuring engagement and reputation management.
  • Analyze digital performance metrics to refine communication strategies.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement:
  • Develop messaging and materials for stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Lead corporate social responsibility (CSR) communication efforts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or a similar role
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing media relations and crisis communications
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Media and developing brand strategies
  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills to assess communication effectiveness
