As a Manager on the M&A Integration team that sits in Corporate Development, you will participate in the strategy, planning and execution of complex integration and change management priorities for our acquisitions. You will orchestrate large-scale, cross-functional M&A efforts, leading through ambiguity and championing change to ensure a seamless experience for all stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive agile decision-making, navigate ambiguity, embrace change, and foster a high-performance team culture. You will work out of the Salesforce office 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and execution of the acquisition integration strategy. Partner with a large cross-functional team to orchestrate impactful integration planning and execution throughout the deal lifecycle.  

  • Cultivate and leverage strong, trusted cross-functional relationships to drive alignment, skillfully negotiate complex trade-offs, and navigate challenges essential to meeting all integration objectives.

  • Apply critical and strategic thinking to proactively challenge assumptions, generate innovative solutions, and enable agile decision-making. Take calculated risks to accelerate progress and ensure the achievement of key business objectives.

  • Drive the development and delivery of tailored change management programs that accelerate the acquired businesses' connection, productivity, and overall performance.

  • Drive transparency to program performance through stakeholder and sponsor updates to communicate progress, surface issues and opportunities, champion team wins, and use feedback and measurement to continuously adjust and remove barriers.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Proactive and inquisitive, with the ability to challenge assumptions, solve complex problems, and apply analytical rigor to generate innovative solutions. Steadfast in retaining focus on overall business objectives.

  • Able to establish and build close trusted working relationships. Strong personal credibility, partnering and collaboration skills. Able to leverage influence to resolve issues and drive alignment toward common goals

  • Experience in planning, design, and implementation of complex, cross-functional business efforts.

  • Ability to work well under deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and work proactively and productively in the face of ambiguity or uncertainty. Strong meeting leadership and facilitation skills to drive agile decision-making, even with incomplete information.

  • High EQ with strong, team-oriented leadership skills. Able to identify, frame, and confront risks and issues and make recommendations for mitigations or resolutions. Strong initiative, personal ownership and follow through. Solid intuition for business. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and humility required to navigate diverse settings, styles, and levels of seniority.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7 years experience in consulting, corporate development, or similar domain leading complex, large-scale programs; experience managing teams and stakeholders across diverse geographies and time zones

  • Very strong writing and presenting skills, ability to synthesize complex topics for senior level stakeholders

  • Broad understanding of M&A (acquisition lifecycle, integration planning, and strategic considerations) and SaaS business (Go to Market, Product, and Operations)

  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and manage high-stakes projects

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.

  • Salesforce.com organization and product knowledge is a plus

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $123,100 - $186,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $147,400 - $202,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
