The Manager of Marketing Operations will guide the lead process, collaborate across teams, and streamline marketing operations while overseeing strategic initiatives and performance tracking.

As the Manager, Marketing Operations, you will be a strategic partner for our Marketing field teams, guiding the lead process, systems, and business intelligence strategy and execution across four teams of our Marketing organization: Events, International Marketing, NORAM HE and Professional Learning, and NORAM K12. You will report to the Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations.
In addition to streamlining Marketing field operations, you'll maintain a business-development perspective, identify growth opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation across the organization. To do this you'll work closely with Revenue Operations, Enterprise Systems, Sales, Customer Experience, and Product teams to develop scalable solutions, impact organizational metrics, and ensure alignment with our Go-to-Market strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Assisting the Marketing Ops team with planning, hiring, and developing new hires into expert MOps professionals.
- Foster a culture of growth and innovation across the Marketing Operations team.
- Oversee tool and system needs for the Marketing Field team, including business requirements, vendor demos, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Drive forward the Marketing organization’s vision of success through strategic partnership and alignment with Marketing leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Partnering with teams in Enablement, Engineering, GTM Systems, Product, Customer Experience, Revenue Strategy, Sales, BI, and Finance for Marketing project intake, prioritization, and handoffs.
- Representing Marketing in enhancement requests and product roadmap influence, both with the Enterprise Systems team as well as the Marketing Operations Systems team.
- Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders for cohesive execution of Marketing strategies.
- Partnering with teams for goal setting and performance tracking.
- Operational Management:
- Support strategic Field Marketing initiatives, business process transformation, and execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Marketing and SDRs.
- In partnership with the Marketing Systems team, support internal tools for marketing system & process monitoring and prospect & customer communication.
- Data Analytics, Forecasting & Performance Tracking:
- Reporting on and identifying trends in Marketing performance data, from awareness to acquisition, to renewal.
- Partner with the Business Intelligence team to ensure Marketing teams are equipped with the data needed to make decisions.
- Analyze, interpret, and translate more complex data sets for the Marketing team on a regular cadence.
Job Requirements:
- Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years as a Marketing Operations Manager or similar Operations role.
- Experience in Marketing preferred.
- Proven expertise in Marketing operations, business analysis, and program management.
- Hands-on experience with Marketing tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase/6sense, Bizzabo, Qualified, LeanData, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Experience implementing and iterating upon Marketing tools and platforms.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Experience driving a roadmap cross-functionally.
- Strong passion for driving growth through technology, process, and innovation.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to partner with leadership in Product, Revenue, and Customer Experience to drive growth.
