Lead S&OP and inventory planning to balance demand, supply, service levels, and working capital. Improve planning systems, build analytical algorithms and AI-enabled workflows, manage overseas suppliers, and lead a supply chain analytics team to drive data-driven inventory decisions and presentations to leadership.
At Wyze, we make smart home technology accessible to everyone. We're known for disrupting markets with high-quality, affordable products - from cameras to lighting to sensors and more. We believe technology should simplify life, not complicate it. We’re a fast-moving, customer-obsessed team driven by curiosity and powered by data.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic, hands-on supply chain leader to shape how Wyze plans, operates and scales as the business grows. Sitting at the center of market demand, inventory, supply continuity, and cross-functional execution, this role partners closely with internal stakeholders (Leadership, Sales, Finance, Product), and external international supplier partners to drive high quality decisions and inventory performance.
This role offers a chance to lead beyond reporting by building analytical algorithms, operating frameworks, improving planning quality, modernizing systems and processes, and helping accelerate AI-enabled supply chain capabilities into real day-to-day operations. This role operates in a fast-changing environment with shifting demand, product timelines, and supply constraints, requiring rapid, high-quality decision-making under ambiguity.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and drive the S&OP process, aligning Sales, Product, and Finance while challenging assumptions, resolving conflicts, and pushing for timely, high-quality trade-off decisions
- Own demand forecasting, inventory planning and decision-making, balancing demand, supply, service levels, and working capital constraints to optimize overall business performance
- Drive system and process improvement across forecasting, planning and analytics workflows to improve planning efficiency, rigor, visibility, and decision-making speed
- Actively manage and influence overseas suppliers to protect supply continuity, including navigating constraints, pushing back when needed, and driving mitigation plans
- Lead adoption and implementation of AI-empowered applications and workflows to improve demand forecasting, inventory planning efficiency, accuracy, and team productivity
- Manage and develop an analytical team; raise the bar on problem solving, business judgment, communication, and execution speed and quality
- Develop proposals and conduct presentations to leadership to facilitate critical inventory decisions
What You’ll Bring
- 8-10 years of direct experience in supply chain analytics, demand planning and forecasting, inventory planning, S&OP, or a closely related supply chain operation and analytical function
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect product strategy, demand generation, and supply execution across the full value chain
- Direct team building experience, including team recruiting, development, and motivation to drive high performance
- Strong analytical foundation with the ability to translate data into business decisions, and the judgment to assess when data or models may be incomplete, inconsistent, or misleading
- Proven ability to make high-quality decisions quickly in ambiguous, cross-functional environments with incomplete information
- Experience building, maintaining, and interpreting metrics and dashboards for operational decision-making
- High cross-functional skills and the ability to work effectively across Supply Chain, Product, Sales (B2B / D2C), Finance, and oversea suppliers
- An excited and curious mindset to lead our team to implement AI/ML tools, automation, or AI-assisted workflows that improve planning quality and operating leverage
- Confidence operating across U.S. and China-based stakeholders and external partners
- Willingness to work overlapping hours as needed to collaborate effectively with cross-geography teams and partners
Preferred experience
- Experience in consumer electronics, IoT hardware, product development, e-Commerce and retail fulfillment environments
- Strong SQL and Snowflake data management skills, or comparable experience with modern data warehousing and analytics tools
- Experience with forecasting models, inventory optimization, and AI/ML planning approaches
- Familiar with ERP, procurement, logistics, 3PL, supplier management, and fulfillment optimization tools
- Mandarin language skills a huge plus
The base pay range for this role is $118,000 – $177,000 per year.
