We're looking for a technical, data-driven Marketing Operations Manager to own HubSpot, our marketing automation platform, and serve as a key operational partner to our Director of Growth Operations. You'll be the go-to person for how marketing data moves through our systems, how campaigns get built and measured, and how our reporting stays accurate and trusted.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who likes building systems as much as running them. We're especially excited about candidates who use LLMs and AI agents in their daily work to automate repetitive tasks, speed up analysis, and scale what one person can deliver.

What You'll DoHubSpot Ownership
  • Serve as the primary administrator of HubSpot, owning configuration, user management, properties, lifecycle stages, lead scoring, workflows, lists, and forms.

  • Build and maintain scalable automation for nurture programs, lead management, and campaign execution.

  • Own data hygiene in HubSpot: deduplication, field governance, naming conventions, and documentation.

  • Evaluate and roll out new HubSpot features, and keep the platform clean, well-documented, and ready to scale.

  • Run the HubSpot website (CMS) operationally, including programs, forms, and list clean-up.

Campaign Operations
  • Partner with the Director of Growth Operations and campaign owners to build, QA, and launch campaigns: emails, landing pages, forms, workflows, and webinar integrations.

  • Set up campaign tracking, UTM standards, and attribution so every program can be measured from the start.

  • Troubleshoot campaign and integration issues quickly and document the fixes.

Deliverability & Orchestration
  • Own email and SMS orchestration across HubSpot and SendGrid, including sending domains, domain health, and spam-flag monitoring.

  • Diagnose deliverability issues and coordinate fixes with IT and vendors.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Support marketing and campaign reporting, including funnel metrics, channel performance, and pipeline contribution.

  • Build and maintain dashboards in HubSpot and Salesforce that give stakeholders reliable, self-serve visibility.

  • Investigate data discrepancies across systems and resolve them at the source.

  • Trace what happened across HubSpot, Salesforce, calls, and contract records when something goes wrong, such as a customer question about what we sent, when, and why, and own the answer.

  • Turn data into clear takeaways and recommendations for marketing leadership.

Systems & Integrations
  • Maintain the HubSpot–Salesforce sync, including field mapping, sync rules, and lead/contact handoff to Sales.

  • Work with RevOps on lead routing, lifecycle definitions, and funnel integrity across the GTM stack.

  • Support integrations with tools such as 6sense, Zoom and other webinar platforms, and enrichment providers.

Sales Support
  • Be the first line for BDR and AE system issues: triage, fix, and document.

  • Own lead routing rules and SLAs with RevOps, and persona coverage on target accounts.

AI Agents & Process Automation
  • Own the marketing ops agents in production: monitor runs, QA output, fix failures, and raise each agent's level of autonomy as its record allows.

  • Use LLMs and agent-building tools to automate workflows, speed up QA, accelerate analysis, and draft documentation.

  • Identify manual, repetitive processes across marketing ops and build AI-assisted solutions to replace them.

  • Share what works so the broader team can adopt it.

Who You Are
  • 4–6+ years in marketing operations, with at least 3 years as a hands-on HubSpot administrator.

  • Deep knowledge of HubSpot Marketing Hub: workflows, lead scoring, lifecycle management, segmentation, and reporting.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, including objects, campaigns, reports, and how marketing data flows into the CRM.

  • Familiarity with 6sense or other intent and ABM platforms.

  • Demonstrated, practical use of LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and experience building agents or AI-assisted workflows to improve your own output. Be ready to show us examples.

  • Strong analytical skills, with comfort working in spreadsheets, dashboards, and messy data.

  • A technical mindset: you're comfortable with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting across systems.

  • Hands-on experience with email deliverability (sending domains, authentication, SendGrid or similar) and SMS tools.

  • Highly organized, with a habit of documenting what you build.

  • Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Marketo, especially migrating between or running alongside multiple MAPs.

  • HubSpot certifications (Marketing Hub, Operations Hub) or Salesforce Administrator certification.

  • Experience with ON24 or other webinar platforms, enrichment tools (e.g., ZoomInfo), or BI tools.

  • SQL, Python, or scripting skills.

  • B2B SaaS experience, ideally in a regulated or compliance-focused industry.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 days: You've audited HubSpot, documented how it's configured, fixed the highest-impact data and automation issues, and you run day-to-day marketing ops independently.

First 6 months: Campaign launches run on a repeatable, QA'd process; reporting is trusted; and you've shipped at least one AI-assisted workflow that saves the team real time.

First year: HubSpot is a scalable, well-governed system, marketing leadership makes decisions from reporting you own, and the ops agents run with an owner, monitoring, and a clean run record.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
