We’re hiring a Marketing Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Account Executives and Account Managers focused on driving monthly revenue growth. This role partners closely with Account Development, Marketing, and Overlay Sales to execute strategic initiatives, build pipeline, and deliver results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales organization for all marketing services activities in the automotive vertical
  • Build and lead an inbound/outbound Sales organization across multiple business units and product lines
  • Help design the sales strategy and resource planning
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, provide timely and constructive feedback, and drive improvement in the execution of sales methodologies and outcomes
  • Identify and develop new sales approaches to penetrate target customer market.
  • Be a hands-on manager by monitoring outbound activity and conducting pipeline reviews.
  • Build and establish foundational sales technology stack and tools to manage and operationalize sales processes and playbooks.
  • Contributing to regular budget and sales forecasting processes.

  

Skills & Competencies:

  •  Strong experience building and managing world-class sales teams.
  •  Proven track record of predictably meeting and exceeding revenue objectives.
  •  Proven ability to manage prospecting efforts, sales process, pipeline, and contracts.
  •  Diligent work ethic: must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative.
  •  Demonstrated ability to develop new markets and territories.
  •  Strong written, phone, and in-person communicator.
  •  Knowledge of SaaS solutions and the buyer-centric sales approach.
  •  Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
  •  Detailed, organized and results-oriented, with ability to effectively prioritize.
  •  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Travel as required by business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B software sales to SMB and mid-market customers.
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Experience in Vertical B2B SaaS is a key requirement. 
  • Strong business acumen, a demonstrated track record of managing sales teams to hit or exceed revenue goals, and mastery at managing KPIs and remote sales operations. 
  • Experience working with product and marketing teams to take new products to market.
  • Proven success in building, developing, and leading high performing teams.
  • A track record of hitting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience successfully managing and developing distributed teams.
  • Experienced power-user of CRM and sales enablement and sales engagement platforms.
  • Obsession with leveraging data to inform strategy, optimize tactics, and drive results.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization face-to-face and remotely.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and participate in planning and presentation sessions.

Salary Range:

On-Target Earnings (OTE): 176,000-200,000 USD
Includes base salary plus commission.
