We are seeking a passionate and engaging Matcha Whisker to join our team! In this role, you will interact directly with customers, preparing and serving premium matcha while creating memorable customer experiences. Your love for matcha, deep understanding of tasting notes, and knowledge of Japanese culture will be key in delighting guests, educating them about matcha traditions, and ensuring every sip is special. Excellent communication and customer engagement skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality matcha to customers
Share tasting notes and educate customers about matcha varieties
Communicate clearly and effectively to engage and entertain customers
Bring enthusiasm and passion for matcha to each customer interaction
Incorporate Japanese language and culture into the customer experience where appropriate
Requirements:
Passionate about matcha and Japanese tea culture
Familiarity with tasting notes and varieties of matcha
Ability to converse in Japanese
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Energetic, engaging, and personable demeanor
